Position Overview

BJC Wellness Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to provide vital mental health services to individuals and families, empowering them on their journey toward emotional well-being. As an LPC, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized therapy solutions and facilitating mental health support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth client assessments to create tailored therapeutic approaches that address individual needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to diverse client groups including individuals, couples, and families.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation and records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
  • Engage in professional development activities, workshops, and training to enhance skills and stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on providing mental health support to a diverse clientele who may have limited access to traditional care. This includes individuals facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. By addressing these issues, you will contribute to improving their overall quality of life and emotional resilience.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • At least two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting is necessary.
  • Strong ethical understanding and adherence to legal standards in counseling practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technology for efficient practice management.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits

BJC Wellness Center offers an annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Employees are eligible for competitive benefits which include:
