Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse groups, including individuals, couples, and families.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care, contributing to treatment planning and client progress discussions.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records in adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars to stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health.

The BJC Wellness Center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Many clients may face challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders, often seeking guidance for personal development in situations where traditional access to mental health services is limited. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience within a clinical environment is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in mental health practices.
• A proven ability to establish rapport and build relationships with a diverse patient population.
• Solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health counseling.
• Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is strongly advantageous.
• Experience working in a remote environment, utilizing digital communication tools effectively to engage with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in developing and leading group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

BJC Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additionally, the following benefits are available:
