Join Pilgrim Place, a welcoming senior living community in Claremont, where respect, kindness, and teamwork guide everything we do. We’re seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Charge Nurse to support residents at Pitzer Lodge and within our independent living community.

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on clinical care, supervise aides, and help foster a warm, supportive environment where residents can maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

 What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living.

  • Support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

  • Administer and document medications accurately and safely.

  • Observe, assess, and report changes in condition; update care plans as needed.

  • Respond promptly to resident needs, including through the computerized call light system.

  • Complete incident reports and communicate effectively with the Director of Wellness/Clinical Services.

  • Supervise and support Pitzer Aides, providing assignments and oversight.

  • Ensure continuity of care through thorough, accurate shift reports.

  • Monitor the building's safety and security, addressing hazards as needed.

  • Assist in the dining room to ensure residents are present and supported during meals.

  • Help maintain a homelike, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and guests.
