Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. As part of a community health clinic, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff who are equally passionate about providing care to communities in need. • Interface directly with clients, both in virtual settings and within the community, to assess, intervene, and provide mental health services tailored to the needs of individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges.
• Conduct evidence-based screenings and develop comprehensive, integrated care plans that link clients with essential community services, ensuring continuity in care and support.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client case management, contribute to care discussions, and assist in the collaborative establishment of treatment goals.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and the code of conduct, ensuring high-quality care by documenting client interactions and treatment progress per agency guidelines.
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide immediate responses to clients in need of urgent support.
• Manage a manageable caseload that includes assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions, adapting approaches to suit the specific needs of clients.
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ treatment progress, performing regular follow-ups to ensure they meet established admission and discharge criteria.
• Provide timely and accurate reports and ensure consistent data submission to support organizational operations and quality improvement efforts.

The LCSW will primarily work with clients from all walks of life, including individuals suffering from major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. Our client population often includes marginalized groups, and you will be expected to advocate for their needs, ensuring equitable access to services and addressing any unique cultural considerations. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journey and overall wellbeing.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required, with applicable state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of community health systems and familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.

While not required, additional certifications in trauma-informed care, and experience serving diverse populations will enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data tracking methodologies is also advantageous in this role.

The position offers an attractive salary range between USD 70,000 and 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
