Position Summary
Holy Names Academy seeks a full-time Director of Alumnae Relations to lead a dynamic and engaging alumnae program. This role is responsible for fostering lifelong relationships between the school and its alumnae by developing meaningful programs, communications, and engagement opportunities that connect alumnae to one another and to the mission of HNA.
Key Responsibilities
Alumnae Engagement & Programming
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive alumnae engagement strategy that strengthens connection, pride, and participation.
  • Plan and execute a range of events, including reunions, Alumnae Board initiatives, and regional or special gatherings.
  • Partner with school leadership to create opportunities for alumnae involvement with students (e.g., panels, career exploration).

Volunteer & Board Leadership
  • Engage, support, and lead the Alumnae Board in planning and advancing alumnae programs.
  • Recruit and steward alumnae volunteers, including reunion committees and class representatives.

Communications & Publications
  • Oversee alumnae communications across all platforms, including social media, email, website, and print.
  • Serve as project manager, editor, and contributing writer for the alumnae publications and support the completion of the Annual Report.
  • Collaborate with the Advancement and Communications teams to ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging.

Data & Advancement Integration
  • Maintain and grow accurate alumnae records in the school's database.
  • Partner with the Advancement team to promote a culture of philanthropy among alumnae.
  • Assist Advancement team with annual fundraising efforts and events.
  • Track engagement metrics and use data to inform strategy and outreach.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, alumnae relations, advancement, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and volunteer management.
  • Proficiency with database systems and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend events.
  • Preferred: Alumna of Holy Names Academy.
