Description
The City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department is looking for talented instructors / teachers to lead Arts / Educational classes at the Community Arts Center to both adults and children. We currently have space for classes throughout the week (including weekends and evenings) and are open to classes in any Art, Craft or Educational category / discipline. If you have the passion and experience to teach a class, we would love to hear from you!
Classes will run dependent on enrollment and are typically offered in 3-8 week sessions.

Examples of Duties
Instructors will be responsible for the following:
  • Create, plan and deliver engaging and appropriate lesson plans under the direction of the Arts & Education Programmer.
  • Creating supply lists and manage inventory.
  • Set-up and clean-up of classroom / teaching space.
  • Assist with program recruitment.

Typical Qualifications
Teaching experience is requested.
Knowledge and experience in the class subject.
Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
