Kids Martial Arts / Boxing Instructor - (Coral Gables)
We are excited to offer the Kids Martial Arts Instructor role at Method X Fitness to the right candidate. Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:45pm. We are looking for someone who can lead by example and represent excellence as a fitness professional.
The Instructor will organize, instruct and implement safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of 6 to 12 years old. We are looking for someone that has experience teaching kids in Martial Arts and Physical Fitness, who is organized, enthusiastic and love to entertain. We a looking for a Coach passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives and want to have a great time doing it.
This role requires you to have a customer service mentality and approach to all member interaction. As a Coach you'll be a leader within our organization and expected to maintain the highest standard of professionalism at all times.
Job Responsibilities
  • Individual must demonstrate the ability to confidently lead our Kids Martial Arts classes.
  • Ability to create a positive, upbeat and energetic studio environment while multi-tasking
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to verbally and visually correct exercise and striking form to educate kids and prevent injury.
  • Must physically be in condition to properly perform all exercises and movements
  • Create relationships with potential, new, and current members so that they feel at a part of our Method X Fitness community.
  • Gain new business through member promotion, referrals, and the use of guest passes.
  • Being aware of current membership promotions, workout challenges, nutritional challenges and events being planned at Method X Fitness

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must hold and maintain CPR and AED certification.

Compensation
  • Competitive hourly rate that is above Industry Standard
