Are you seeking a flexible work schedule that allows you to work with young children and contribute positively to their growth and development? Kids' Corps, Inc. is looking for Substitute Assistant Teachers to join our team in providing support across our six different locations and 15 classrooms in Anchorage, AK.


Position Overview:

  • Role: Substitute Assistant Teacher
  • Location: Anchorage, AK
  • Type: Part-Time, on-call, flexible hours based on availability
  • Starting Salary:
    • High School Diploma/GED: $17.75 per hour
    • CDA Certificate: $18.64 per hour
    • AA or Higher in a degree related to Early Childhood Education: $19.57 per hour
  • Benefits: Includes a $300 sign-on bonus after completing the 90-day probation period


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to classrooms as needed, following provided schedules based on your availability.
  • Assist in implementing curriculum and activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for young children while fostering positive interactions.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Additional certification or degree related to Early Childhood Education preferred.
