What you'll do
Customer Collaboration:Work closely with customers and ESCO Sales personnel to identify design criteria for best-in-class products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Engineering Solutions:Apply sound engineering principles to define, solve, and document problem solutions, ensuring products meet quality and manufacturing requirements.
Product Lifecycle Management:Manage and maintain system database parameters for mass production products and daily customer orders, including engineering change orders and database updates.
Product Development:Develop fabricated products aligned with customer and manufacturing needs, working with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs of existing products.
Communication:Effectively communicate with internal and external customers at all levels to support project success and collaboration.
Travel Requirements:Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, typically about 2 weeks per year in North America.
Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you'll bring

Must-haves:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years related engineering experience, preferably in heavy industry or manufacturing
Proficiency in CAD modeling, ideally Siemens NX
Authorization to permanently work in the United States

Nice-to-haves:
Experience designing steel fabricated products and understanding of materials and manufacturing processes such as castings, wear-resistant composites, welding, cutting, forming, and assembly
Familiarity with Oracle and Agile software systems
Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and diverse global teams
