Job description

Press Brake Operator

Location- Phoenix, AZ
Work Arrangement- Onsite, Shift 4am-12:30pm M-F

What you'll do
Machine Operation:Set up, operate, and maintain 600 and 2000 ton press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to precise blueprints and job orders. Daily tasks include loading material, changing dies, and adjusting machine settings to meet specifications.
Blueprint Interpretation:Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine correct bending angles, tooling, and machine parameters. Material Handling:Use overhead crane and rigging skills to safely move and position large metal pieces (up to 20 ft long) from staging areas to the press brake.
Quality Control:Perform first-part inspections and in-process checks using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture. Conduct risk assessments at the workstation before starting work, identify safety hazards, and strictly follow all safety protocols including the use of PPE.

What you'll bring
Must-haves:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Experience operating large manual press brakes (600 and 2000 ton) and forming metal parts without CNC assistance.
Proficiency in using overhead cranes and rigging for material handling.
Strong commitment to safety and ability to perform risk assessments independently.

Nice-to-haves:
1-3 years of experience in press brake operation or similar metal fabrication roles.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and quality control techniques.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented industrial environment.
