You'll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You'll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that's through engineering, planning or customer support. You'll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.
What you'll do
Machine Operation:Operate CNC machines and other production equipment such as drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners to manufacture high-quality steel parts accurately and safely. Daily tasks include running pre-written CNC programs and handling materials with remote-controlled cranes.
Blueprint Interpretation:Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances, supporting precision in production.
Quality Control:Monitor production processes, perform quality checks, and document any exceptions or issues. Promptly address problems to maintain high standards and comply with safety protocols.
Collaboration:Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the production process.
Training and Development:Participate in a 6-8 week training period to build skills and knowledge necessary for success in the role.
Travel Requirements:No travel is required for this role.

What you'll bring
Must-haves:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation experience (programming not required)
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-haves:
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn and adapt during training
