Weill Cornell Psychological Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting individual therapy sessions and coupleโ€™s therapy to address relational challenges and individual mental health needs.
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and ongoing therapeutic progress.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist families in resolving conflicts, improving communication, and fostering healthier relationships.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and refer patients to additional services when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with practice standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including couples, children, and adolescents. You will specialize in addressing a range of issues, including but not limited to:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse.
  • Physical and psychological abuse.

Qualifications
