Job description

The Division of Child Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a full-time pediatric epilepsy physician for a faculty position in the Division to expand our busy and growing pediatric epilepsy program, including video EEG monitoring and surgical epilepsy planning. Successful applicants should be Board Certified in Child Neurology with BC/BE in Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy. An interest in clinical and/or translational research is welcomed.

NewYork-Presbyterian/ Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is a 651-bed academic institution, academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, caring for residents throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding areas. Our hospital boasts a Level III NICU, a 6-bed PICU with 400 admissions annually, and a 15-bed pediatric floor with 2,000 admissions per year. Our academic programs include nine graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs. We have a fully accredited ACGME Pediatric residency program comprised of 30 residents and medical students from Weill Cornell Medicine.

The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College; academic rank at Weill Cornell Medical College will be commensurate with experience and credentials.

The salary range for this position is $205,597 to $243,396 This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
