Job description

Data Center Security Professional

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Data Center Security Professionals in the Ashburn, VA area. Various days on 2nd and 3rd shift are available! These positions offer a starting pay rate of $25.50/hr - with weekly pay.

Schedules:

  • 3rd shift: Saturday - Wednesday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 3rd shift: Thursday - Monday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 2nd shift: Saturday - Wednesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Daily Operations

  • Must be able to perform physical duties such as patrols, inspections, and emergency response activities.
  • Performs a minimum of 3 patrols per shift.
  • Conducts daily Camera audits to ensure systems remain operational.
  • Processes Access and Revoke Access tickets precisely.
  • Perform tasks such as badge creation, access credential edits and biometric fingerprinting for clients and customers.
  • Reads and understands Power BI dashboards and reporting, viewing the dashboard daily to address failed alarm responses.
  • Must be able to articulate concerns, comments and questions without much guidance, via email, work order or team's channel.
  • Responds to Alarms and other KPI's according to all Service Level Agreements.

Qualifications Required:

  • Virginia DCJS Security License (Ability to get MD / DC License).
  • Intermediate Computer / Data Entry Skills.
  • Knowledge of Access Control / Video Monitoring Systems (CCure, Genetec, Linux, Lenel, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in a Security and Security Operations Center, preferably in data centers, critical infrastructure, or enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver messages across multiple organizational levels.
  • Intricate and detailed report writing, escalation, system input, and verbal capabilities.
  • CPR / AED / 1st Aid certified.
  • Reliable Transportation; Not Metro Accessible.
  • Experience and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Teams, Calendar, etcetera.
