Job description

About Aqua-Tots Swim School 

At Aqua-Tots, we’re on a mission to save lives by teaching children how to become safe and confident swimmers. We’re hiring a Full-Time Teammate who is eager to grow, serve families, and live out our core values: friendly, driven, humble, and willing. 

This unique position combines two key roles: 

  1. Water Safety Instructor (teaching swim lessons to children ages 4 months–12 years) 
  2. Family Experience Teammate (providing front-line customer service and operational support) 


Key Responsibilities 

As a Water Safety Instructor: 

  1. Teach Aqua-Tots curriculum in a warm, indoor 90-degree pool 
  2. Provide fun, structured, and confidence-building lessons 
  3. Communicate with families about swimmer progress 
  4. Maintain a safe, clean, and energized pool environment 

As a Family Experience Teammate: 

  1. Greet families warmly and deliver top-tier customer service 
  2. Answer phones, respond to emails, and support scheduling & billing 
  3. Help families select the right swim programs and handle enrollments 
  4. Celebrate milestones and create a positive experience every visit 
  5. Keep the swim school organized, clean, and inviting 


Requirements 

  1. Must be 16 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S. 
  2. Must have open availability and willingness to work varied hours, evenings and weekends. 
  3. Must be able to travel locally to other schools as needed. 
  4. Must complete Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor training (we pay for it!) 
  5. Ability to routinely lift over 60 lbs 
  6. CPR Certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire and provided if needed) 
  7. Strong communication and a team-first attitude

Compensation: 

$15–$17/hour (Full-Time, Hourly) 

Weekly pay with Benefits 


Schedule: 

Full-time, minimum 38 hours per week
