AI Automation Engineer (LLMs / AI Agents / Workflow Automation)

Location Onsite: Boerne, TX 

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview

Mannapov LLC is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to build AI-powered systems that automate business workflows and support our sales organization.

You will develop AI agents, automation pipelines, and internal tools powered by large language models (LLMs) that help automate communications, answer customer questions, retrieve product information, and improve the productivity of our sales team.

This role is ideal for a developer interested in applied AI, automation, and LLM integrations who enjoys building practical systems that solve real business problems.

What You'll Build

Examples of projects include:

  • AI agents that retrieve product      and inventory data
  • Internal AI assistants using RAG      architectures
  • Automated customer messaging and      communication workflows
  • Sales automation tools and      follow-up systems
  • Internal dashboards for      interacting with AI-powered tools
  • Integrations between LLMs and      company systems

Key Responsibilities

AI Automation

  • Build AI-powered automation      systems using LLMs
  • Develop AI agents that assist      with sales communications
  • Implement RAG systems to      access company data
  • Improve reliability and accuracy      of AI responses

Application Development

Build internal applications using:

  • Laravel
  • PHP
  • JavaScript
  • HTML / CSS

You will also:

  • Develop APIs connecting internal      systems with AI platforms
  • Build tools used by sales and      operations teams
  • Implement prompt engineering and      AI integrations

Workflow Automation

  • Design automation pipelines using      n8n
  • Automate workflows such as:
    • lead engagement
    • customer messaging
    • follow-up automation
    • data retrieval

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • ~5 years of software development      experience
  • Full-stack development experience
  • Strong skills in:
    • PHP
    • JavaScript
    • HTML / CSS
    • Laravel
  • Experience building APIs and      internal applications
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must read, write, and speak English

Preferred Experience

Helpful but not required:

  • LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Prompt engineering
  • RAG architectures
  • Embeddings / vector databases
  • AI agent systems
  • Workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier)
  • AI tools for sales or operations

Ideal Candidate

You enjoy building practical systems that solve real problems.

You're comfortable working across the stack and excited about applying AI and automation to real business workflows, particularly in sales operations.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not manage employees of the department and is not responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
