DISTRIBUTION CENTER LEAD - WEEKEND SHIFT

REPORTS TO: DISTRIBUTION CENTER SHIFT MANAGER

STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

SHIFT: SATURDAY - MONDAY 6:00 AM - 6:30PM

The DC Lead will help oversee the Distribution Center's weekly inbound and outbound processes. This position will also assist in ensuring products are delivered correctly in a timely manner while demonstrating excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all weekly distribution orders are shipped to stores in a timely manner
  • Continuously review operational processes to verify they are accurate and meet compliance standards along with making suggestions to improve the processes
  • Assist in daily monitoring of productivity objectives to confirm they consistently meet Company and departmental standards
  • Partner with the DC employees to correct mis-packs and mis-ships quickly and efficiently
  • Ensure over picked product is accounted for at the end of each shift to verify the accuracy of the inventory levels and inform management of any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for ensuring department is always clean, organized, and in line with all safety regulations
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
  • Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
  • Adheres to local, state and federal laws
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management
  • Understands and complies with all company rules and regulations

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of Distribution Center work experience; retail environment is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
