Job description

Windows Systems Administrator Ft. Meade Area, MD • Government/Military Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph Full-Time | Fully Funded | $150K - $225K | 40 Hours/Week Keep the Mission Running. We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join an operations team maintaining and improving a large, complex, geographically distributed, air-gapped environment.

You'll own end-to-end system administration across multiple domains, storage, and network infrastructures-keeping mission systems secure, available, and optimized. What You'll Do In this role, you will: * Install, configure, harden, and administer Windows (2012R2/2016/2019) and Linux servers/workstations; manage Active Directory. * Sustain web-based applications and server enclaves; handle patching, cert renewals, vulnerability management, and AD configurations.

* Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues; lead O&M responses and develop durable re-work solutions. * Perform security management and performance optimization for servers, apps, and networks. * Create and maintain clear documentation for complex server/network environments to accelerate incident resolution.

* Coordinate outages/upgrades with users and external support; brief leadership with resolution options. * Support virtualization and automation across multi-domain, high-assurance environments. What You Bring Required Qualifications: * 8+ years relevant system administration experience supporting end users and technical teams (developers/testers/engineers).

* Proficiency with Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019, Active Directory, and Linux; experience with Windows 2019 specifically.
