Job description

Due to our continued growth, STS Technical Services has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Weld Supervisor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are seeking a motivated leader to oversee our team of MIG welders and fabricators, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality production standards.
Hiring Note: We are seeking bilingual candidates for this role. Those who speak both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of MIG welders and fabricators.
  • Delegate job responsibilities effectively to optimize workflow.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to meet manufacturing requirements and schedules.
  • Assist with hands-on tasks as needed to complete assignments.
  • Inspect products and equipment for defects or malfunctions to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
  • Communicate process changes and updates to employees to ensure compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing facility working on the shop floor.
  • Must be bilingual, English and Spanish.
  • Strong ability to measure, compare, and perform necessary calculations to ensure compliance with engineering or sales specifications.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
