About Ruban Bleu Weddings & Events

Ruban Bleu is a wedding and events planning company serving couples across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We specialize in culturally inclusive celebrations across many traditions and backgrounds, LGBTQ+ weddings, destination weddings, and themed celebrations.

We help couples have a beautifully planned wedding without the luxury price tag. Our sales approach reflects that. We are warm, honest, and consultative, never pushy.

About the Role

We are looking for a Wedding Sales Professional to own our inquiry-to-booking process. You are the first real conversation a couple has with Ruban Bleu, and you guide them from interested to booked.

This is a closing role, not a lead-generation role. The inquiries come to you through our website, referrals, and platforms like The Knot and Zola. Your job is to turn those conversations into signed clients.

You will run consultation calls, understand what each couple actually needs, recommend the right service tier, send proposals, follow up, and close. You are also the person who makes couples feel understood in that first conversation, which matters as much as the numbers.

What You Will Do

  • Respond to new inquiries quickly, usually within a few hours during business hours
  • Run consultation calls and video meetings with couples
  • Listen for the real need and match couples to the right package: Full Planning, Partial Planning, or Month-Of Coordination
  • Prepare and send proposals through our booking system
  • Follow up consistently until the couple books or clearly says no
  • Keep every lead and its status accurate in our CRM
  • Hit monthly and seasonal booking targets
  • Represent the brand at the occasional bridal show or venue open house
  • Give us honest feedback on what couples are asking for and where we lose them

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in weddings, events, hospitality, real estate, or another relationship-driven, consultative field
  • A warm, natural closer who builds trust fast and does not rely on pressure
  • Excellent phone, video, and written communication
  • Comfortable talking about pricing and asking for the sale
  • Organized enough to follow up on dozens of leads without letting any go cold
  • Culturally aware and genuinely comfortable serving couples of all backgrounds and identities
  • Reliable during evenings and weekends, which is when couples are free to talk
  • Local to Dallas-Fort Worth strongly preferred, so you can attend consultations and events in person when needed
  • Experience with a CRM is a plus
