The Warehouse Team Member (Cold Storage) operates a forklift or other powered industrial truck to receive, ship, pick, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
This role is responsible for the safe and efficient use of all equipment, as well as order selection and checking as needed.Key Responsibilities
  • Exemplify all core values and guiding principles of RLS Logistics.
  • Operate stand-up reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Receive and ship freight; verify counts against driver BOLs.
  • Identify and reconcile count variances; make notations and obtain driver signatures.
  • Prepare over, short, and damage reports as required.
  • Select orders by product type and lot number, assembling cases neatly on pallets or carts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure all products are handled properly in the freezer environment.
RequirementsEducation
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • Preferred:
    • 2 years of Stand-Up Reach Forklift experience.
    • 1 year of Cold Storage or food warehouse experience.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Forklift certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Able to stand for long periods (6+ hours).
  • Must tolerate cold freezer environments (0° to 36°F) for up to 6 hours.
  • Must be able to endure loud warehouse noises and maintain accurate vision in a freezer setting.

Work Schedule
  • Weekend Shift: Friday- Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
    Although these are the estimated range of daily hours for this shift, it is important to note that there is NO DEFINED END TIME for this role. We end the day when the work is completed.
