The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of all warehouse operations. This role ensures the safe storage, handling, and distribution products while maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing the warehouse's performance. The Warehouse Manager in the is responsible for the overall management, organization, and coordination of warehouse activities, with a primary focus on product storage and distribution. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations while adhering to safety, quality, and inventory control standards. Duties/Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order processing, quality control, and shipping of rubber products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement efficient replenishment and restocking processes to optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure that the warehouse operates in full compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and addressing any potential safety hazards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to safeguard the condition and quality of rubber products during storage and distribution.
  • Supervise, train, and lead warehouse staff, ensuring a productive and motivated team, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, layout optimization, and automation to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Coordinate order processing, packaging, and shipping, making certain that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics providers, negotiating terms and ensuring timely and cost-effective inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse-related expenses, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and inventory holding costs.
  • Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics, and provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management.

Education and Experience

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be on their feet for 8 hours or more.
