The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the company's hospitality services on-site and off-site through quality control of all packs, equipment testing / routine maintenance, inventory management, and facility maintenance.Job Duties and Responsibilities include • Picking and packing supplies into crates to support each hospitality service.• Receive and stock deliveries of perishable items, equipment, and catering supplies.• Supply deliveries & pick-ups• Warehouse safety, inventory, organization and equipment management.
• Equipment maintenance, cleaning, and overseeing repairs.
• Facility maintenance and supply inventory• Prepping food for shows• At times, swap warehouse shifts to drive to deliver equipment to a tradeshow.• Actively participates in department meetings.• Supports 4-6 hospitality events each year. Each event is 3-5 days in duration.Required Qualifications:• Strong verbal communication skills• Basic computer skills (typing, web browsing, etc.)• Some weekends are required.• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. with minimal support.Preferred Qualifications:• 3+ years of experience in shipping / warehouse industry
• Hospitality background in hotels, convention centers, tradeshows, event management, hospitality or catering companies is a plus.• Can work in a highly autonomous setting and is a self-starter.A can-do attitude
