University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

$170,461 - $316,467

Description

The University of Rochester Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is actively recruiting for an outpatient physiatrist with clinical expertise in general PM&R and performance of electrodiagnostics. This position offers the opportunity to work in our brand-new state-of-the-art outpatient facility where physiatrists from the Departments of PM&R and Orthopaedic Surgery work side-by-side in division-specific practice pods. No inpatient call. No holidays. No weekends.

In addition, there is ample opportunity to pursue academic and scholarly interests. This includes support of the education mission, consisting of teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as the support to pursue research interests. This position comes with a primary faculty appointment in the Department of PM&R and at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO (or equivalent)

  • BC/BE

  • Interest/aptitude in performing electrodiagnostic studies

  • Interest in teaching/mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students
