Training

Training includes both classroom and field instruction:

    • Classroom Training: Mechanical Safety Orientation during the first week of employment.
    • Field Training: Hands-on experience in locomotive service and shop operations.
    • Norfolk Southern provides lodging and reimburses travel per union agreement.
