Job description

D7 Pneumatics LLC. is seeking hardworking and safety-conscious Underground Coal Miners to join our team. The role involves operating mining equipment, extracting coal, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining underground mining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in underground mines, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain underground mining equipment, including continuous miners, roof bolters, and shuttle cars.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support roof and ground control measures to maintain mine stability.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
  • Assist in mine ventilation, drainage, and dust control efforts.
  • Transport coal and other materials through underground tunnels using conveyors or haulage equipment.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.
  • Respond to emergencies, such as fires, gas leaks, or cave-ins, following established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in an underground coal mine.
  • MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) certification.
  • Strong understanding of underground mining operations and safety procedures.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces under challenging conditions.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot mining machinery.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
