Job description

About Crossing Inc
Crossing is a fast-growing e-commerce, retail, and collectibles company serving passionate communities across trading cards, gaming, anime, and pop culture. Through our retail stores, live commerce channels, events, and online platforms, we're building one of the most exciting destinations for collectors and enthusiasts.
About the role
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and creative Brand & Community Operations Coordinator to support and help grow the HiROQUEST brand. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and is passionate about collectibles, anime, gaming, and community-building.
This individual will play a key role in supporting operations, managing community engagement, representing the company at card shows and conventions, and helping develop the HiROQUEST brand presence across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently, and enjoys wearing multiple hats across operations, events, content, and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
Event & Brand Representation
  • Travel to card shows, conventions, and industry events approximately once per month
  • Set up, manage, and operate company booths at events such as Collect-A-Con
  • Represent the HiROQUEST brand professionally and enthusiastically
  • Educate customers and attendees about the company, products, lore, and characters
  • Build and maintain relationships with collectors, customers, and partners

Operations & Business Support
  • Process and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and Sales Orders (SO)
  • Support inventory tracking and operational coordination
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical documentation
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors

Social Media & Community Management
  • Manage and grow social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, and Discord
  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging social content
  • Respond promptly to community inquiries and subscriber communications
  • Foster an active and positive community experience across platforms
  • Help strengthen the HiROQUEST brand voice and audience engagement

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, community management, marketing coordination, brand support, or related roles
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms and online communities
  • Comfortable writing social copy, product descriptions, and community communications
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-growing startup environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability
  • Passion for anime, trading cards, collectibles, gaming, or pop culture strongly preferred
  • Experience attending or working conventions/card shows is a plus
  • Familiarity with Discord, TikTok, Instagram, and website/content management tools preferred
  • Portfolio or examples of previous content, social media, creative work, or community engagement projects encouraged

Travel Requirements
  • Travel within the U.S. approximately once per month
  • Some weekend travel required for conventions and events
  • Flexibility to support event schedules as needed

What We're Looking For
This role is best suited for someone who:
  • Takes initiative without needing constant direction
  • Is excited to help build and grow a brand/community
  • Can balance operational execution with creativity
  • Enjoys engaging directly with fans and customers
  • Is adaptable, resourceful, and eager to contribute beyond their core responsibilities

The pay range for this role is:
20 - 25 USD per hour (Irvine, CA)
