Job Description
General Scope of Duties
Work on an on-call basis to assistant the Theater Services Department in staging performances, lectures and film screenings.
General Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform miscellaneous duties including stagehand, assisting with sets, lighting, sound, video, rigging, wardrobe, etc.
2. Provide work direction to student workers as necessary
3. Follow and enforce department standards for safety
Education and Skills
  1. Technical theater experience that provides the knowledge to perform listed duties
  2. Weekend and night work required
  3. Must be able to carry 50lbs safely.
  4. Must be able to set up and climb ladders to at least 16 ft.
  5. Knowledge of carpentry, welding, rigging, electrical wiring and general duties needed to stage productions
  6. Ability to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the college and community
  7. Attention to detail
  8. Well-organized, able to work under pressure, plan and accomplish goals
