Job description

Sterile Processing Technician (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay Rate: $1100/week
Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday, typically 11a โ€“ 7:30p but may have to com in early/stay late. No holidays, call, weekends, or overnights(40 hrs/week)


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and trays

  • Operate sterilization equipment (steam sterilizers, washers, HLD systems)

  • Perform quality assurance checks and maintain accurate documentation

  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and proper assembly

  • Manage inventory, stock supplies, and support OR and clinical units


Requirements

Requirements:

ยท2+years of experience

ยทPrevious OR or Med Surg experience in a health care facility

ยทCertified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)

- Must have travel experience
