Restaurant Supervisor

The Restaurant Supervisor serves as the shift leader for restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience and upholding the highest standards of hospitality. This role oversees all restaurant and the bar workflow during assigned shifts, providing leadership, and direction. The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for maintaining service quality, professionalism, cleanliness, and efficiency while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

This position plays a key role in training and developing team members, reinforcing service standards, and ensuring full compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. The Restaurant Supervisor drives operational excellence while contributing to sales growth and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the Front of House team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Act as the point of contact for service issues, staff coordination, and workflow management.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve issues promptly to enhance the overall experience.
  • Prepare and serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control of all beverages
  • Maintain clean and organized areas at all times.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Train, coach, and onboard new team members to meet performance and service expectations.
  • Reinforce upselling techniques and promote programs to drive sales.
  • Ensure compliance with TABC regulations, company policies, and sanitation standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team success and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of high-volume experience in a Mexican cuisine environment.
  • Previous leadership or shift lead experience.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently to interact with customers and the public; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid Food Handler and TABC Certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends.
  • Must be flexible on AM/PM shift.
