Familiarity with version control systems like Git, popular frameworks, and agile project management tools is typically expected. Excellent time management, self-motivation, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for balancing weekend work and collaborating with remote or distributed teams. What are the typical expectations and communication practices for a Weekend Software Developer working with a distributed team?

Weekend Software Developers often collaborate with teams that operate across various time zones and schedules.
