Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction. Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.
Direct and dispatch other team members to events identified by the slot dispatch system.
Walk the casino floor, in assigned area, watching for change lights, or other signs that a guest needs assistance.
Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness to include light cleaning duties such as, but not limited to, cleaning ashtrays, removing dirty glasses and wiping down slot machines, and chairs.
Initiate and pay jackpots accurately and quickly. Initiate and carry out fill procedures accurately and quickly. Redeem slot vouchers for cash.
Carry out all Marketing initiatives to guest's satisfaction. Carry out casino promotional activities as needed.
Check in and out cash bank quickly and accurately. Maintain bank to variance standards.
Perform minor repairs to slots. Maintain slot area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Serve guests light snack, beverages, as required by current casino amenity program.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability of simple reading, writing, and complex math and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and occasionally sitting during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 50lbs or less constantly.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require constant light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others around computer equipment, electrical devices, and other mechanical devices in possible high places.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Team Member may be exposed to dirt/dust, odor, and/or secondhand smoke.
