Location: Evansville, IN (In-office)
Company: Signarama Evansville
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 8am-5pm

Job Details

If you are an energetic, outgoing, and fun person that is tired of the same boring thing day after day, then keep reading!

Signarama Evansville is a 5-Star rated company seeking a 5-Star person with a smiling face and a glowing personality to join our dynamic team in Evansville, Indiana, as a Client Account Specialist. Our crew is a great mix of friendly, hardworking people. We have fishermen, readers, movie buffs, video game heroes, tool geeks, animal lovers, and a variety of other interests. We have family people, single people, parents, and grandparents. Happy people.

We work hard but we work hard at having fun, too. Laughter and positive energy is a constant in our shop. Our crew is constantly on the move, working on new and exciting projects, and the company is growing rapidly while focusing on continually providing an excellent customer experience.

This person will handle customer service duties as well as quote basic sign projects for the team. Experience in the sign-making industry is a plus but it’s not a requirement. After all, we do provide at least SOME training. This person sits at our front desk (see also: The “Face” of the operation), greets walk-in customers, and answers the phone.  So, the ability to smile both in person and through the phone, think creatively, communicate effectively, and on good days, walk simultaneously, are all the basic expectations for this position. :)

SO, HERE’S THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT:

This is a full-time gig that works Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Overtime is occasionally available as needed to keep up with the workload. Nights and weekends are for family and personal time. Pay is based on experience and your personal awesomeness level. Annual Bonus Pay is also available and based on the overall company awesomeness level.

The primary function of this position is to provide excellent customer service, accurate quoting of basic products and services, timely follow-up, cross-selling, manage existing accounts, and interact with the public and teammates in a courteous and professional manner. Of course, we also expect you to dress appropriately (super cool Signarama gear will be provided), answer the phones, keep a clean, organized work area, blah blah blah.

TO BE TRULY AWESOME FOR THIS POSITION, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Basic computer knowledge (duh) and willingness to learn our client software program
  • Experience operating & trouble-shooting basic office equipment (We’re not looking for MacGyver. We just need someone to be able to clear a paper jam and load a new ink cartridge occasionally.)
  • Ability to interpret and follow customer’s directions, and determine quality solutions
  • Demonstrated pride in craftsmanship and final product quality
  • Ability to pass basic math and spelling tests (See also: “Can use a Calculator and Spell Check”)
  • Good organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter, willing attitude (seriously, who wants their hand held all the time?)
  • The ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines (Think circus-level plate spinner and you’ll be on target.)
  • The ability to pass a background check and a drug screen
  • Valid proof of USA residency
  • A good driving record

WE’RE NOT LOOKING FOR A DESK JOCKEY, SO YOU MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO:

  • Stand, bend, and kneel on a regular basis
  • Occasionally help other team members
  • Climb a ladder (preferably without falling down)
  • Operate basic hand tools
  • Bench press 300 pounds. (Ok, not really. But being able to lift up to 25 lbs is occasionally required.)

ADVICE: Don’t ignore this opportunity. Maybe you are happy where you are at. But again, maybe you could be happier. Don’t be afraid of change or what your employer might think. Sometimes people need to move on in order to grow. The best employers understand that and encourage it.

OUR HIRING PROCESS IS EASY:

1. You finish reading this posting (Ta-Daa! You already have!)
2. You realize how awesome you are and have interest in this job
3. You tell us you’re awesome and interested in this job
4. We talk on the phone
5. You come meet the team
6. You tell all your friends and family about your spectacular new job at Signarama!

IN CONCLUSION:

If you are a happy, energetic, smart, and creative person, then we have a place for you.  We look forward to talking with you soon!
