Position Summary As a Coach Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of passengers along designated routes. You will play a key role in supporting our clients' mobility needs while ensuring a high standard of safety, reliability, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatchers, and managers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting passengers and answering questions about routes and schedules.
  • Report maintenance issues, route disruptions, and accidents via two-way radio or hands-free communication tools.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs and incident reports.
  • Support ADA passengers with boarding and unloading as needed (up to 45 lbs).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class A or B required
  • Passenger (P) endorsement
  • Airbrake endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience

Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate a coach vehicle safely for extended periods (up to 1 hour and 45 minutes without a break)
  • Comfortable with split shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Capable of driving in various weather and terrain conditions
  • Familiarity with GPS, route navigation apps, and onboard technology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
