Automotive Shuttle Driver

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Automotive Shuttle Driver to join our dealership team. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced. This position plays an important role in providing an excellent customer experience and representing the dealership in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely transport customers to and from the dealership and designated locations.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service at all times.
  • Assist customers with entering and exiting the shuttle vehicle when needed.
  • Maintain communication with the Service Department regarding customer pickups, drop-offs, and scheduling.
  • Plan efficient routes while following all traffic laws and dealership safety procedures.
  • Keep the shuttle vehicle clean, organized, fueled, and presentable.
  • Perform basic visual inspections of the shuttle vehicle and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees.
  • Assist with light dealership duties or vehicle transportation when shuttle demand is low, as directed by management.
  • Protect customer and dealership property and maintain confidentiality when appropriate.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and driving requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate dealership vehicles.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to navigate local roads and use GPS/navigation systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to pass applicable driving record and background requirements.
  • Previous professional driving, dealership, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles throughout the workday.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform routine physical activities associated with the position.
  • Ability to assist customers with light personal items when necessary.
