Job description

Start a meaningful career helping seniors in your community. At Home Instead, we’ll give you the tools, training, and support you need to succeed as a Caregiver. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to professional home care, our team is here to help you every step of the way. You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay & Benefits
  • $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits**
  • Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks***
  • Weekly pay with direct deposit
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance + 401(k) match (eligibility applies)
  • Paid holidays (1.5x pay) and sick leave accrual
  • $700 caregiver referral bonus
  • Paid training and continuing education opportunities
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between same-day visits

*must be in good standing and worked a minimum of 16 visits in first 45 days

**Weekend visits start between Saturday 12:01AM and Sunday 11:59PM

***To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
