Job description

Position title : Security Specialist Location : Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC Clearance required : SECRET Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Conduct physical security operations in support of SOMTC mission requirements. * Implement and enforce Army and installation physical security policies and procedures. * Submit and manage Fort Bragg Form 975 requests to the Fort Bragg DES Physical Security Division. * Manage contractor and staff security information, documentation, and access requirements. * Utilize Defense Information System for Security (DISS) for verification, updates, and coordination of clearance information. * Provide clear instructions and guidance to visitors and personnel. * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all security standards. Qualifications * Associate degree: 6 years of military experience OR 5 years of physical security experience may substitute. * Knowledge of Army Physical Security policies and procedures. * Customer service skills. * Ability to submit Fort Bragg Form 975 to the Fort Bragg DES Physical Security Division. * Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Ability to manage contractor staff information. * Attention to detail. * Ability to articulate instructions to visitors. * 5 years of Army physical security experience.
