Job description

North State Security is hiring reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide on-site security services at a client location in Erwin, NC. We are seeking flex officers to fill in when needed. This position requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to safety.

  • Please note that hours are not guaranteed and assignments may occur with short notice and include evenings, overnights, and weekends
  • Responsibilities:
  • Monitor client property and observe client activities to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor individuals admitted to client site and stay attentive and responsive to surroundings at all times
  • Perform routine patrols
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior or activities that may impact safety or operations
  • Respond appropriately to altercations or other incidents
  • Obtain statements, document incidents, and complete detailed reports accurately and professionally
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate sound judgment and reliability
  • Ability to assist with additional shifts if needed
  • Qualifications:
  • Prior security experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Must remain alert and proactive at all times, including during overnight hours
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to pass all background checks
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License
