Job description

Salary: $25-30/hr DOQ + Bonuses

Title: Production Line Operator


Terms: Full-time, hourly

Salary/Rate: $25-30/hour DOQ + BONUSES

Shift:

1st:5am-3pm, Mo-Th Location: Albertville, MN

2nd: 3pm-1am, Mo-Th
(Shift Differential: $2.00)

Weekend 1st: 5am-5pm, Fri-Sun (Shift Differential: $3.00)

Weekend 2nd: 5pm-5am, Fri-Sun (Shift Differential: $4.00)


Qualifications & Skills

  • Speak, read, and write basic English
  • Understanding of basic arithmetic & mathematics
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lb. repeatedly throughout the workday
  • Integrity and discipline to follow procedures for operation, safety, and quality
  • Forklift experience (Existing certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of food quality and safety
  • Ability to conduct food testing procedures by protocol using proper technique
  • BONUS: Experience in industrial/agricultural manufacturing labor and/or warehouse labor
  • BONUS: Skilled with mechanical equipment and tools

Description & Responsibilities

As a Production Operator, you will be assisting a semi-automated food ingredient processing system. This involves repetitive heavy lifting, machinery operation, forklift operation, and working with a team of operators to ensure excellent food quality. Tasks require attention to detail and include filling out paperwork accurately, labeling containers, watching gauges and making necessary processing adjustments, performing basic lab analysis procedures, ensuring food is produced safely and to high quality standards, etc. The work environment may at times be loud, dusty, smelly, cold, and/or warm. Employees must always wear gear including hairnets, protective smock, etc. They must also wear gloves, earplugs, and masks often. There will be allergens present in the work environment (wheat, dairy, soy).
