Job description

We are seeking reliable, hardworking candidates to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time 2nd shift position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and enjoys being part of a team that supports the daily operations of our facilities. Base hourly rate is $17.43.
Position Details
       Schedule: Monday Friday, 3:30 pm 12:00 am (summer hours may be different)
       Hours: 8 hours per day, 12-month position
       Occasional weekend rotation required
       Starting Pay: Hourly base pay begins at $17.03. Salary placement is determined by experience and current salary schedule
       Benefits include:
        o Paid time off after successful completion of a 60-day probationary period

Purpose of the Position
Custodians are responsible for maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public. This position also assists with room setups for meetings, activities, and events while helping minimize property damage, loss, and liability exposure.
Responsibilities
      Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
      Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces
      Set up and arrange furniture and equipment for meetings and events
      Assist in maintaining building safety and cleanliness standards
      Report maintenance or safety concerns as needed
      Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
      Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members

Current benefits are $415 applied towards Health Insurance and after one year of employment if enrolled in a 403b or 457 with one of the District Providers at the start of the plan year District employee match with a $30 minimum $150 maximum; District paid term life insurance; and paid leave days.
