Hampton School District is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for the school year 2025- 2026. This position is at Hampton Academy serving students in grades six through eight. The successful candidate must be able to administer psychological, intellectual, social, emotional, as well academic evaluations to students identified with or suspected of having disabilities. These evaluations must be in accordance with the National Association of School Psychologist (NASP) standards and result in comprehensive written reports and verbal presentations detailing outcomes and recommendations. The successful candidate must deliver effective counseling services to students with behavioral challenges who are identified with special needs and are on individualized education plans and be a resource to our school staff.
The candidate also serves as a collaborative member of the IEP team, assisting with interpreting independent evaluations, determinations of special education eligibility, and recommendations for appropriate special education programming. Consultation with teachers and administrators regarding students with disabilities is also part of the role responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, good organization/time management skills, and knowledge of special education procedures are fundamental. The candidate must also have strong organizational skills with a proven ability to collect and organize academic and or behavioral data.
Qualifications: School Psychologist NH Certification Required; Master's Degree in related field; relevant experience in an educational setting; knowledge of school systems, RTI processes, and special education; a minimum of 3 years experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred.
