Job description

We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler who will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules that optimize production or operational workflows. Core duties include:

  • Planning and Scheduling: Design production plans, coordinate manufacturing or operational processes, and ensure resources (materials, equipment, personnel) are available when needed.
  • Coordination Across Departments: Work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, and project management teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, facility infrastructure, system availability and align schedules with business goals.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain accurate reporting systems, track progress, update schedules, and generate performance reports to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze scheduling systems, refine processes, and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved
  • Work closely with stakeholders to make sure that the stakeholders' needs are adequately met in a timely manner
  • Rectify and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that have to multiple activities being tracked
  • Make sure schedules are given to stakeholders in a timely fashion
  • Monitor the development of all master schedules and report on status as needed

  • Active Secret clearance is required
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or any other field related to Defense Acquisition
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully, cordially, and freely with people (customers, employees, and vendors inclusive)
  • Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task at all times
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision
  • Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have good time management ability so as to be able to meet up with orders and schedules
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
