What You'll Do
  • Prepare and execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service from scratch using fresh ingredients
  • Follow recipes while bringing creativity and quality to every plate
  • Cook a variety of menu items/cuisine. Specials change daily
  • Manage your station - prep, cook, plate, and maintain throughout service
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation per health code standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen and dining room staff to deliver smooth, timely service
  • Assist with receiving and rotating inventory as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
  • Assist with special events when needed

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of cooking experience in a scratch restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen
  • Solid knife skills and working knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Ability to manage prep and production in a fast-paced but organized environment
  • Current Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification and MAST (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player who takes pride in their work
  • A genuine interest in serving others - experience in senior living is a plus but not required
  • Pass a Department of Social Services background check
