Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
  • Accurately document resident assessments, treatments, and nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policies.
  • Transcribe physician orders and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs).
  • Coordinate with the pharmacy regarding new medication orders and prescription changes.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly.
  • Provide wound care and other clinical treatments as ordered.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement resident care plans.
  • Educate residents and family members regarding treatments and care plans.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.
Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
