RN Weekend Supervisor

This is an every weekend position.

12 hours shifts (7a-7p)

****Signing bonus of $10,000.00 to be paid out incrementally $2,500.00 every 90 days.

****We are looking for an energetic team player for this position****

Duties may include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure the facility meets the minimum staffing levels for nurses, CNAs, PCAs

  • Ensure nurse staffing projections are posted

  • Ensure that all resident rooms, common areas, treatment areas and nurse's stations are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner

  • Assist with safe and orderly resident transfers and discharges in accordance with facility policies

  • Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, documenting, etc. as necessary

  • Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity, respect, and consideration and have the right to exercise their choice and self-determination

  • Ensure residents receive culturally competent trauma informed care in accordance with professional standards of practice

  • Ensure residents are free from physical or chemical restraints imposed for the purpose of discipline or convenience that are not required to treat the residents' medical symptoms

  • Complete accident/incident reports as necessary

  • Keep the Director of Nursing informed of the status of residents and other related matters through written/oral reports

  • Direct the day to day functions of the nursing team in accordance with current rules and regulations

  • Coordinate with Staffing Coordinator to ensure staffing requirements are met

  • Develop positive professional relationships with staff

  • Assist in grievance process in coordination with grievance officer

  • Assist DON/Risk Manager with reportable incident investigations

  • Collaborate with HR, DON, and Educator on training, skills development, competencies, and in-servicing as needed

  • Assist DON and Educator in planning clinical supervision for nurse aide trainees, nursing students and newly hired nursing staff.


  • Requirements:

  • Must possess an active Florida RN License or a Compact RN License

  • Must pass a Level II Background Check
