Job Title: RN Cath Lab(Prem)
Location: Rapid City, SD 57703
Salary Range: $74,000 $93,000
Schedule: Days | Full-Time
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for qualified candidates

Job Summary:

As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a key role in patient assessment, procedure preparation, monitoring, and recovery, while ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes throughout the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and procedures

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures

  • Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and post-care

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using applicable EMR systems

  • Respond to life-threatening situations following policies, protocols, and standards

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, education, and team development

  • Follow ANA standards, ethical nursing practice, and Monument Health protocols

  • Practice in compliance with SD Board of Nursing scope and licensure requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota

  • BLS Certification (AHA) must be obtained within 60 days of hire

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • 5+ years of RN experience, ideally in Cath Lab or critical care environments

  • ACLS certification

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
