Job description

Sign-on & Retention Bonus Available! 

  • RNs with less than 2 years of OB experience: $5,000 total bonus ($2,500 after introductory period + $2,500 at 1 year)
  • Experienced RNs with 2+ years of OB experience: $10,000 total bonus ($5,000 after introductory period and $5,000 at 1 year)

The RN in Obstetrics provides family centered nursing care to the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patient and to the neonate, including the family and patient support system.  Post-op nursing care of gynecological surgery patients is also provided.

Must perform other duties as requested or assigned.  May be expected to take call.

QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION:

  • BSN preferred but not required

LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION:

  • Current Kansas RN License
  • BLS - Obtains RQI BLS certification within appropriate quarter (approximately within 3 months of hire), maintains quarterly RQI requirements.
  • ALS- Obtains RQI ALS certification within appropriate quarter (approximately within 6 months of hire), maintains quarterly RQI requirements.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)- Satisfactory course completion with current card or ability to complete within 1 year or at the next available course offered by NMRMC. 

 EXPERIENCE:

  • One year experience as an RN preferred, but not required.
  • Obstetrics experience preferred, but not required.
  • Computer experience preferred, but not required.
