Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Center

Location: Ohio
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00/8:00 AM Start | Typically Finished by 4:30 PM
Hours: Guaranteed 32-35 hours/week with the opportunity for up to 40 hours based on patient volume
Pay: $35-$45/hour (based on experience)


Break Into Outpatient Surgery!

Are you a Registered Nurse looking to transition into an outpatient surgery center? This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with no weekends, no holidays, no on-call, and no overnight shifts.

You'll work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff while providing exceptional care throughout the surgical experience, including Pre-Op, PACU, and Procedure Room responsibilities.


Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients before and after outpatient procedures.
  • Care for patients in Pre-Op, PACU, and the Procedure Room.
  • Monitor, assess, and recover patients following procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures as needed.
  • Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Start and maintain IV access as needed.
  • Complete accurate paper chart documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.

Qualifications
Required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred
  • Experience starting and managing IVs.
  • Experience with paper charting.
  • Previous Pre-Op, PACU, endoscopy, surgery center, or procedural nursing experience is a plus, but motivated RNs looking to transition into surgery are encouraged to apply.
