TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.

Unit: Level IV NICU - MUST HAVE VENT EXP!

Experience Required: 2 years of Level III-IV NICU

Certs Required: BLS, NRP

License Req: Active WA/Comp License

Skills required: MUST HAVE VENT EXP
Respiratory support for vents (required), trachs (highly preferred, not required), g-tubes, NG/OG, NCPAP, UAC/UVC management, PICC lines, med admin, care plans, DC to home; looking for someone with a good attitude whoโ€™s friendly.

Travel Exp: Will consider first time traveler but travel experience strongly preferred.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: prematurity down to 22 weeks gestation, RDS, high-risk deliveries and patients, feeders/growers, NAS; preferred experience โ€“ surgical patients, HIE (Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy)

EMR: EPIC

Floating: Possibly to ER to act as a sitter, but rare

Scheduling:
Weekend Rotation: every other; may have a few back-to-back weekends, but rare
