What you will do: As the Lead Registered Nurse, you will oversee and support the delivery of high-quality health care services for youth and staff within our program. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate medical services, and mentor nursing team members while ensuring compliance with all county, state, and Rite of Passage standards. In this leadership role, you will serve as the primary clinical lead for the site medical team, administering medications, conducting health assessments, managing treatment plans, and coordinating appointments, follow-ups, and laboratory testing with physicians, psychiatrists, and outside providers. You will also provide health education and training to staff and students on first aid, infection control, CPR, medication safety, and emergency procedures. Additionally, you will manage medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and budgets, maintain accurate and confidential medical records, and promote a safe, compassionate environment by modeling professionalism, empathy, and ethical care. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and external agencies will be essential in addressing the holistic health needs of those we serve.

To be considered you should: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in related health care field ~ current RN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required ~ Minimum of 2 years of previous medical services administration ~ Prior experience supervising staff is needed ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ meet the requirements to be an eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License
